SENIOR WRITING SEMINAR: ATHENS AS CASE STUDY OF SOUTHERN INDUSTRIALIZATION

Student Web Pages

These are the final results of student research relating events in Athens, Georgia, to regional or national trends in industrialization. Not all students turned in the required web version of their papers, so this is not a complete listing of all topics explored. The students themselves, for the most part, constructed these pages. When necessary I opened them up and corrected obvious errors in their construction. For others that would not load, I spent some time opening their source documents and constructed the web pages myself. These will only be listed on this site for a brief time, after which they will become available at the Athens-Clarke County Regional Library Website.

As a teacher, I found this class very hard working, and very willing to do research. (Although, like all of us, they can continue to work on improving their writing skills.) I hope they learned as much as I did in this class. [signed] Michael Gagnon
