Spring 2004

These are the final results of student research projects for History 3090 in Spring Semester 2004, on local power relations of the Jim Crow South as demonstrated by the Slave Narrative Interviews done by the Federal Writers Project of the Works Progress Administration in the 1930s. Not everyone chose the Slave Narrative assignment, so other projects will address other issues dealing with race relations in the South during the Great Depression.
